In 2004 the law changed for reporting charitable donations to the IRS. Donors must report the amount that the vehicle sells for as a charitable donation, rather than claiming the blue book value. The vehicle auction allows our donors to claim the vehicle’s selling price on the previous year’s income tax return.
Eliminate the hassle of putting your vehicle up for sale. We sell it at public auction, you claim the selling price as a tax deduction. Most importantly, you’ll help to provide a second chance for the boys and girls at Arrowhead. Please call Liz Nolte at (309) 799-7044, ext. 225 to donate your car, truck, boat or other vehicle.
