Our annual golf outing is a one day event filled with fun and camaraderie. This year's golf date is May 12th. If you enjoy golfing and want to spend the day supporting Arrowhead Ranch please feel free to look over our attached post card or call 799-7044 x 225 for more information.

Arrowhead Round-Up
The Arrowhead Round-Up is a one day fund raiser for the Arrowhead facility, The 2008 Round-Up will be September 14th; please come back soon and visit for updates. The general auction will include furniture, exercise equipment, etc. Family activities include bingo, children’s games, entertainment, petting zoo, food booths, bake sale, crafts and plant sale. Donations to the Round-Up come from the community.Items NOT accepted are listed below:
- Refrigerators, air conditioners or anything with freon
- Stoves, sinks, toilets, tubs, washing machines, dryers, etc.
- TV’s of any type
- Large upright pianos and organs
- Furniture needing repair or reupholstering
- Pool tables
- Yard sale leftovers
- Mattresses or box springs
- Clothing and shoes
- Microwave ovens
- Computers and/or accessories
- Swing sets
Volunteer Opportunities
Arrowhead Ranch has been very fortunate to have such wonderful volunteers. They come back year after year to help with all fundraising events, from our annual Round-Up, to keeping our grounds looking beautiful. The Quad City community has been willing to help Arrowhead wherever needed, but we could always use more volunteers. As a volunteer of Arrowhead Ranch you would be helping the youth of our community learn the values Arrowhead has been teaching at-risk youth since 1945. Our mission is to motivate at-risk youth to become productive and responsible young men and women by providing the highest quality counseling, education, and social services to youth and their families. It takes hundreds of volunteers every year to make our annual fund raisers a success. We are in need of more loyal volunteers for our fundraising events, bulk mailing of our newsletters, and keeping our grounds looking beautiful. Malcolm Jewelers
Malcolm Jewelers has custom made this heart of an angel pendant. The beatiful pendant features the silhouette of an angel with its wings fully expanded into an elegant free form heart design. When worn for personal adornment the angel provides guidance in our lives while the heart provides love and support. In keeping with tradition Malcolm Jewelers supports the ranch by donating proceeds from the sale of this unique pendant. Vehicle Auction
A semi annual car auction is held in January of each year. In 2004 the law changed for reporting the tax donation to the IRS. No longer could car donors take the blue book value of their donated vehicle. Instead they were only able to report the amount of the sale of the vehicle. It became important for Arrowhead Ranch to add the semi annual car auction for our donors to make a taxable deduction when completing their income tax forms.
