Education Programs

The educational component of Arrowhead Ranch is provided by the Moline School District #40. Moline Schools and Arrowhead Ranch have enjoyed a successful union since 1945 and our residents are able to learn in a truly unique environment. Our facility is approved by the Illinois State Board of Education as an approved residential school. We are a special education program which allows us to provide a student-teacher ratio of 6-1.

Arrowhead Ranch is able to provide the following services:

Independent Learning System - a computer generated classroom using Success Maker software
Industrial arts - includes a state-of-the-art auto shop and wood shop
Technology Lab
Driver’s Education
Physical Education with involvement in state-wide competitive sports teams through the Illinois Interagency Athletic Association
Community Service Projects
ISAT and Prairie State Testing
Academic testing using WRAT and Woodcock-Johnson III
Year-round schooling that allows for up to 10 credits per year
Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery (ASVAB)
